Not much to say. The information about freemasonry is interesting, as is the way they see the world and their place in it. Other than that, the story, the actions of the characters, and the rest, were predictable and not very exciting. It isn't a bad story, it just isn't very new and exciting. Character development (I believe I understand that) is not given much attention, hence, characters were not very well built up.

I enjoyed reading it but I wouldn't buy the book or recommend it to anyone without explaining all this. Time is so valuable, this book will use some of your time-it is good if you're looking to kill some time, but if you're not, why not keep looking for something better to spend your time reading?

I would. But, once I begin something, I am too stubborn to give it up unless it isn't any good at all, that is, I won't quit a book unless it is a real stinker. I didn't quit this one, so you may assume its odor was not altogether unpleasant. I can't quite decide how to rate it, so I gave three stars to reflect how it left me feeling. It is a good example of a story that doesn't know what it trying to say,

The Lunar Code edition by Robert Foster Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

Seems like this was written over a couple of days. Plot desperately thin. No depth to any characters. Loads of typos. On the whole, thought it was awful.
I enjoy reading a short story as I feel that the plot moves along quickly rather than dragging out the storyline. However, if this was a longer book then perhaps the author could have developed the characters a little more as there appears to be a lot of depth to all of them. I did enjoy the character of Peter the detective right from the beginning as he seemed to want to uncover the secret because of his morals rather than trying to cover it up out of some warped loyalty to a cult. I was also surprised that Alicia the high-class hooker was part of the Freemasons and I liked the fact that Robert Foster didn't stick to gender or class stereotypes. The story was unpredictable and fascinating; the concept of there being a secret behind the moon landings was a brilliant and original one and I look forward to reading more by this author.
I felt that The Lunar Code was a wonderful balance of conspiracy theory and Masonic lore that fully engaged me as the reader and rang true to life. A detective and a friend investigate a murder that appears to have Masonic ties.

I gave this a five star review in spite of finding a few editing errors because of the flow of the story and the way it held my interest.
The first thing I noticed when reading Robert Foster's book was that it had some obvious similarities to Dan Brown's series of books featuring The Da Vinci Code; Freemasons and intellectuals protecting a secret that would change the world if it was discovered. Like Brown's books it builds up suspense by introducing the mystery right from the very beginning and presenting complex and highly suspicious characters. I found the description of London with its grandiose buildings, to be quite useful in helping me to get lost in the settings and therefore in the story. The more I read on the more I enjoyed the twists and turns of the novel and the way in which everything tied together. I thought that Frost did a good job of planning the story out so that it was easy to follow, despite being fast-paced and intricate.
Very good.
The story had interesting concept. It was hard to read because of the typos and it was a bit farfetched.
This book was so inadequately edited I literally got dizzy reading it... The misspelled words and poor construction is so amateurish people are amazed. It is embarrassingly childish in its presentation. The author bears the humility. The publisher bears the stain on their reputation.

I am so disappointed ...
